Correction: Estimated 18 to 20 inches and rising–the predictions are changing by the hour! A Winter Storm Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for our area effective Tuesday at 1pm until Wednesday at 7pm…areas in the Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Lebanon and Reading areas are likely to receive higher amounts.
“Midstate residents took a breather Sunday as they recovered from the weekend’s snow and prepared for 6 more inches Tuesday night.
“The next storm is coming from the southern Plains,” said David Martin, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in State College.
“Light snow will start at sunset Tuesday evening and taper off around 4 p.m. Wednesday,” he said. “Most of it will come overnight Tuesday.” <sigh>
(This guy’s had a longer ‘breather’ than most!)
