The Land-O-Lake Ladies are back! But some things have changed–like their markings, their choices for which area of the field they graze on, and their bulk. These ladies are skinnier, less muscular, younger in appearance, and if you click on the thumbnails, you will notice that their udders are full, in spite of the time of day–noon!
I feel sorry for some of them. Their udders are massively swollen, like overfilled water balloons, ready to burst. I wonder why the farmer is letting them suffer? Or maybe these ladies have already been milked today once, but are a lot more productive than the last lot!
At any rate, I’m guessing last year’s ladies are already safely stowed away in freezers of beef-eating Americans across the country. <sigh>
